Pros

Angela had more time to do other things before writing the paper at the last minute.

She said she has done okay doing it this way before, so she’ll probably do just okay on this one.

Cons

Angela will not have enough time for each stage of planning out a research paper: brainstorming topic ideas, research, writing the first draft, revisions, and proofreading.

She won’t have time to have a peer review her paper.

Angela may not be able to finish her paper by the due date. She could get a lower grade for handing it in late.

Angela won’t produce her best work on this assignment.

In the long term, she might continue to procrastinate which could cause her grades to suffer.
