Sagacious, it could be defined as having or showing keen mental discernment and good judgment, shrewd is a synonym of what this word can be used as. Some other synonyms would be discerning, insightful, perceptive, prudent, sage, sapient, wise. Also, it can describe people or in this case animals, therefore the best option to choose would be “WISE”.
