Imagine a world with no access to medical care. what would people do? write a brief short story about living in a world without access to medical care.

The concept of "Accessing" medical care, per se, could be analyzed from different points of view, to start with. This meaning that the health policies of many countries make it hard for the citizens to have actual access to the medical care, despite the services being available for everyone. For example, the lower classes of the USA experience devastating difficulties when it comes to accessing medical care due to the high prices they have to pay.

The affordability  and physical accessibility to medical care need to be considered when analyzing the "access" to it.

A possible brief story about a world without access to medical care (not too hard to imagine in many countries nowadays), could go something like this:

"Paula is a 52 year old woman from the Dominican Republic, who now lives in a a very poor neighborhood in New York. She is a single mother of 4 kids. Paula has worked very hard for the past 35 years, to be able to support her kids and her home. But since she never finished high school, all her jobs have been very poor and unstable. Many times, she has even had to take two jobs at a time to be able to pay the bills. Paula has been very tired lately, she has been feeling more fatigued than usual, and has also noticed that she has lost some weight. But Paula tries to push this thoughts off of her mind, because she knows she has to keep working, and noting can't be changed. One day, during her shift at work, Paula collapses on the floor. Her kids, very worried about this situation, decide to take her to a hospital to get checked up. That is when Paula finds a horrible truth, she has Lymphoma, a type of cancer. In fact, she has had it for a while, and has gotten worse due to the fact that she has never gotten treatment for it. She was now ready to do whatever it took to get cured. But poor Paula didn't know how expensive the medicine and chemo were. Paula, unfortunately, is only one of many other people who don't have access to medical care and never will. She will die from a decease that could have been cured if gotten the proper treatment, but Paula, of course, couldn't afford it."

This is a short story that reflects the reality of what many people go through due to not having access to medical care, despite the services being available. So as you can see, we don't really have to imagine a world without access to medical care, because this happens everyday for many people like Paula. Paula doesn't have to imagine a world like this, because it is in fact, her world.

in this text, paine use the word “ye” several times in order to  capture  the  attention of the colonists who   haven't understand the   importance and urgency of his cause. the word "ye" that is the plural of   "thou" is used to call the colonists attention and make the fight for the cause.
