Advice a friend who respond to conflict by confrontation on why it is not healthy in sustaining positive relationships

Responding to conflict with confrontation will greatly affect because confrontation will only alienate him or her from others.  People tend to stay away from those who are confrontational.  It gives them an impression that this person is hard to get along with.  He or she should listen to others and find a way to resolve things where he and the other party can reach an amicable solution.  People build good relationships with others.
