What are constraints? 1 po
What are the requirements of the design? What features does it need to have, how will
it behave?
What is the design supposed to do? For example, transmit a current, measure
temperature or switch on a light. Designers will categorize them into primary and
secondary functions.
How does the design accomplish the desired function?
What are the limitations or restrictions on the design? Constraints take into
consideration factors including safety, standardization, client/customer requirements,
cost and market.
