Water is supplied from a tower with an elevation of 312 ft to a neighborhood at
an elevation of 198 feet located 4.2 miles away. To travel the 4.2 miles, water
flows through 16-inch, cast iron pipe. Along the way it also passes through 4
regular 90 degree elbows, 3 long radius 90 degree elbows, 2 regular 45 degree
elbows, 5 branch flow tees, 6 gate valves, and 2 angle valves. The flow rate of
the water is 150 gallons per minute.
