A 1 cm diameter bar is 10 cm long. The first 4 cm are made of 2024-T6 aluminum, and the remainder of the bar is 304 SS. The free end of the aluminum is held at 550°C. The temperature at the interface between the materials is 540C. Determine how much heat is flowing through the bar, and what the temperature at the cold end is. Assume 1 dimensional heat transfer.
