There is a steel tank with a 6 mm thick thin-walled mantle containing a gas under pressure. The Strain Gauge located in the mantle at 22.5º from the axial direction measured a 100 με deformation with increasing pressure from atmospheric pressure, determine: 1)Internal pressure.
2)Pond volume variation percentage (flat heads).
3)Maximum shear stress in the pond mantle.
