Two satellites A and B are orbiting the earth around the equator, E, at different altitudes on a circular path of 2400km and 3000km from the surface of the earth. The radius of the earth at the equator is its equatorial radius which is 6378km, mass of the earth is 5.98*10^24kg, g=9.81m/s^2, G=m^2/kg^2. If the satellites are of the same mass, 100kg, determine the:
a) Force required to keep each satellite in orbit.
b) Speed of the satellite and which is at a higher speed around the earth.
c) The period and the angular frequency of the satellites around the earth.
d) Force of attraction between the earth and each satellite, fA and fB.

Asingle-geared blanking press has a stroke of 200 mm and a rated capacity of 320 kn. a cam driven ram is assumed to be capable of delivering the full press load at constant force during the last 15 percent of a constant-velocity stroke. the camshaft has an average speed of 90 rev/min and is geared to the flywheel shaft at a 6: 1 ratio. the total work done is to include an allowance of 16 percent for friction a) estimate the maximum energy fluctuation b) find the rim weight for an effective diameter of 1.2 m and a coefficient of speed fluctuation of 0.10
