Calculate the combustion temperature of a gaseous oxygen-hydrogen mixture whose mass ratio is 3:1 (O2:H2). Since this means a considerable excess of hydrogen over the stoichiometric proportion, assume that the product temperature will be low enough to prevent dissociation. The temperature of the reactants entering the camber is 298 K, and the heat transfer to the coolant from the chamber walls is 8.4 kJ per mole of product. As a first approximation, the mean specific heats may be taken as given below. Use the heats of formation from Chapter 5 in your text as needed. Average specific heat, kJ/kmol-KH2 O2 H2OReactants 29.6 32.3Products 32.9 46.8Once the temperature has been calculated, you can estimate the amount of O2, H, OH, and O present using the law of mass action by assuming that the small amount of these trace species present has a negligible effect on the large amount of H2 and H2O present in the mix. Using the data provide below in graph form, estimate the partial pressures of these species at the combustion temperature. IMPORTANT PART TO BE DONE:- Rework the problem using either Stanjan or the NASA CEA code and compare the results. (IN MATLAB)
