The resistance of a thermistor is 850 2T 55 °C and 4.5 k2 at freezing point. Calculate the characteristic constants (A, B) for the thermistor and variations in resistance between 30 °C to 100 °C. The output of an LVDT is connected to a 5V voltmeter through an amplifier of amplification factor 250. The voltmeter scale has 100 division and the scale can be read to 1/5th of a division. An output of 2 mV appears across the terminals of the LVDT when the core is displaced through a distance of 0.1 mm. calculate (a) the sensitivity of the LVDT, (b) sensitivity of the whole set up (c) the resolution of the instrument in mm. Discuss the main distinctions between analogue and digital instruments. Write a few notes of: (a) Decimal Counting Assembly (DCA), (b) Seven-segment Digital Display What is the resolution of 4 digital display of 1 V and 10 V ranges? A 4; digital voltmeter has an accuracy specification of +/- 0.5 % of reading+/- 1 digit. What is possible error in volts when the instrument reading 3.00 V on 5 V scale. Compare the advantages and disadsrantages of analome and digital measuring
