In establishing the necessity for rehabilitation technology products, clients’ immediate and anticipated medical and functional needs are always considered. Some rehabilitation-related devices include individually configured manual and powered wheelchair systems that have adaptive seating and alternative positioning and require evaluation, fitting, configuration, and adjustment. Using the axiomatic approach and TRIZ, develop concepts and design parameters for an intelligent wheel chair.
