A four-way set associative cache consists of 32 slots. The main memory block size is 16 words. Consider referencing following word addresses 0, 1, 2, . . . , 287 repeatedly for 5 times. Assume that the cache is initially empty. How many times will the way prediction scheme not predict correctly? What if we first reference addresses 0, 1, 2, . . . , 143 repeatedly for 5 times first, then reference addresses 144, 145, . . . , 287 repeatedly for 5 times? Repeat the same computation.
