Estimate the uncertainty in a 22 m/sec air velocity measurement using a Pitot tube at 20C. Assume the atmospheric pressure is 100 kPa and that R and the density of water, H O2 are known with high enough accuracy to consider them as constants (zero uncertainty). The pressure for each tap is measured with separate manometers that have a resolution of 0.5 mm. The manometers use water as the fluid and each are oriented vertically. The absolute pressure (which gives you the density of air) is known with an uncertainty of 0.1 kPa. The temperature is known with an uncertainty of 1C. Assume the stagnation pressure, pt, is indicated by a static height of 7 mm.

If the thermal strain developed in polyimide film during deposition is given as 0.0044. assume room temperature is kept at 17.3 c, and thermal coefficient of expansion for the film and the substrate are 54 x 10^-6c^-1 and 3.3 x 10^-6c^-1respectively. calculate the deposition temperature.

Asolid cylinder is concentric with a straight pipe. the cylinder is 0.5 m long and has an outside diameter of 8 cm. the pipe has an inside diameter of 8.5 cm. the annulus between the cylinder ad the pipe contains stationary oil. the oil has a specific gravity of 0.92 and a kinematic viscosity of 5.57 x 10-4 m2/s. most nearly, what is the force needed to move the cylinder along the pipe at a constant velocity of 1 m/s?
