Steam at 0.6 MPa and 300oC steadily enters a nozzle whose inlet area is 0.07 m2. The velocity of the steam at the inlet is 5 m/s. Steam leaves the nozzle at 250oC and 0.2 MPa. Heat losses from the nozzle are estimated to be 20 kW. Find (a) the velocity at the nozzle exit, and (b) the volume flow rate at the nozzle exit. [hint: you will need to use unity conversion ratio: 1 k J k g 1000 m 2 s 2]
