Air at 80 kPa and 127°C enters an adiabatic diffuser steadily at a rate of 6200 kg/h and leaves at 100 kPa. The velocity of the airstream is decreased from 230 m/s to 30 m/s as it passes through the diffuser. The gas constant of air is 0.287 kPa·m3/kg·K. The enthalpy of air at the inlet temperature of 400 K is h1 = 400.98 kJ/kg. Find

(a) the exit temperature of the air and
(b) the exit area of the buffer
