11. A thermal burn occurs when your body comes in contact with a hot object such as steam, boiling water or a hot wire. In this case, a shock will happen because you touched an electrical charged source with bare skin and because the wire in hot, you skin will burn due to dying of the skin cells that were exposed to high temperatures above normal.

An equipment such as a machine could be dangerous when operating, thus they are designed with safety equipment.In performing this process, an operator should first shut down the equipment.This can be improved by understanding the how to disconnect the machine, especially using  its on/off switch. The second step should be ensuring all external energy sources are disconnected.The third step follows disconnecting the secondary energy sources.This is called residual energy sources such as fumes that may need to be vented or trapped heat in the heating system.

14. Repetitive motion disorder is a condition on body muscles caused by unnatural motions, incorrect working position, fatigue in body muscles and excess strain in oneself. The symptoms are tiredness and stiffness in the affected area.Applying self physiotherapy could help eliminate this condition.

15. An Aerial lift is any vehicle mounted device used in elevating operators working on towers, aerial ladders or extended platforms. These lifts have replaced ladders and scaffolding in similar jobs operations because of their flexibility and mobility. Hazards associated with aerial lifts include falling from elevated heights, tip-overs, falling objects from lifts , electrocutions and contacts with other objects. Pre-start inspection is a must before starting any operation on the lift.This is done on the vehicle itself and its lift components. The second step is performing the workplace inspection, to check things like the slopes of the area, presence of electric wires, debris at the place and factors such as weather conditions.
