Assum e 78% of the bioreactor total volume can be filled with liquid, with 22% of the bioreactor total volume left for gas holdup and headspace. Assume the optimal mass transfer and mixing design gives a vessel H/D ratio of 1.9. Model as a cylinder and neglect the volume/height of the vessel heads. (Hint: you don't actually have to look up anything about bioreactors! This should be a VERY simple calculation using only geometry...)
