The affan industry has a 240v supply from which the following load are taken;
four hundred 150w lamp, three hundred 100w lamp, five hundred 80w lamp, two hundred 120w lamp and one hundred 60w lamp.
computer three 400w, 100kw and 1000kw.
air conditioner a total of 597kw.
photocopying machines 1000kw.
electric typewriter ten 500w.
assuming that the lighting load is on for a period of 6hours/2days the computer for 3hours per day, the air conditioner for 48hours per 24days, the photocopying machine for 48hours per day and the electric typewriter for 4hours per day calculate;
1. the weekly consumption of the industry in key when working on a 7days week.
2. what current is taken the computer load only if switched on?
3. if the affan add ten automatic voltage to his industry each taken a current of 4a, calculate the weekly consumption of the industry in kwh when working on a 5 day week. assuming that the load is on for a period of unity hour per day.
