General description of the problem

People with high self-esteem: accept their strengths and weaknesses. believe that failed experiences are failures of their whole self. feel good about who they are only when they reach total success. need positive external experiences to counteract negative feelings that constantly plague them.

Scientists have changed the model of the atom as they have gathered new evidence. one of the atomic models is shown below. what experimental evidence led to the development of this atomic model from the one before it? a few of the positive particles aimed at a gold foil seemed to bounce back. the colors of light emitted from heated atoms had very specific energies. experiments with water vapor showed that elements combine in specific proportions. cathode rays were bent in the same way whenever a magnet was brought near them.

Write a defining table and then a program that determines if you can sleep in or not. your program should get all its input from your computer’s clock. on all weekdays (monday through friday) that are not holidays, your program should output “get up! ” on all other days (weekends and holidays), your program should output “sleep in.” the three holidays that your program must check for are january 1 (new year’s day), july 4 (u.s. independence day), and december 25 (christmas). you don’t need to include other holidays in your program because most other holidays do not occur on a fixed day each year.
