Alcohol affects the brain’s communication pathways. It will make the brain release a certain hormone that affects a human’s mood and behavior. It will be harder for the brain to think clearly and coordinate.

Alcohol might cause high blood pressure, stroke, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmias. Drinking alcohol in a long time will damage the heart.
