Why is school garbage

It's not that school is garbage, it's that the school needs to update their ways. We are using teaching techniques that are from the 1800s, because the teacher tell them what to do all the time, limiting their knowledge. Also, If someone gets a bad grade, they get punished, but instead, they need to have lessons to go over the information, to get better. Also, we need to make sure that schools do a better job at have the children retaining the information. Because, there's a 99.999% chance that a child will forget 50% of the information that was taught to them in 5th grade, and they're currently in 9th grade.
