If I was an IT manager and a new support person were starting with limited experience I would first explain to them about domains and how they work. I would show them how to join a computer to the domain and also give them a glimpse of AD. I would also explain to him how AD words and group policy comes into place on a domain network and how managing computers joined to a domain is much easier and also safer. I would not give him permissions to any man agent console however, I would give him domain admin rights to join and dis join the computers to the domain
