Which substance would have the highest melting point, based on electronegativity

Electronegativity is the ability of an element to attract electrons towards itself during bonding. Compounds with a metal and nonmetal that have a great electronegativity difference would result to a much stronger intermolecular force. Its effect on the melting point is to increase it further because it takes greater energy to break these bonds. So, the higher the electronegativity difference, the higher the melting point.
