Your lab assistant rushes over to you. Terrified he tells you that the ideal gas you were monitoring has changed. Apparently the pressure had gone down (50 atm to 40 atm) but the volume had grown! It was only 300 liters, but now it is 1000! You decide you need to check it out. The temperature it was kept at was 270 K, but are the temperatures safe to go over to it now? What temperature is the gas?
