0.5 gm of zinc dissolved in dilute sulphuric acid gives 183 cc of moist hydrogen at 9 °C and 748 mm. What would the volume of the gas be at NTP ? Calculate the weight of zinc required to liberate 22.4 litres of dry hydrogen at NTP ? (Aqueous tension at 9°C = 8.6 mm)
