PLEASE I NEED HELP
If water doesn’t contain ions because electrons are shared, are water molecules as attracted to each other as NaCl formula units?
If water molecules aren’t as attracted to each other as NaCl units, does that make it easier or harder to separate molecules?
How does this difference at the microscopic scale (due to bonding) help us explain why NaCl is a solid at room temperature, but H2O is a liquid?
