In order to determine the concentration of a given potassium Iodide solution. 25 cm of 0 .3 percent Hydrogen Peroxide (0.3w/v) was pipetted unto 50 cm of the Potassium
lodide solution followed by addition or 2 drops of bench HC. The mixture was allowed
to stand for 15 min. The liberated lodine was tired against o 1 M standard Sodium
Thosphate solution
0,5 cm of starch indicator was added when the colour of the lodine was featly
discharged and the titration continued to obtain the end-point. Using an average titrea
25 cm and correct equations of reaction,
Convert the concentration of the Hydrogen peroxide to mol/L
Estimate the concentration of the Possun lodide in the solution provided.
