Other organisms, however, have only one cell in their entire body, and humans can see some of these single-cell organisms with the naked eye. Human egg cells, unusually large bacteria, some amoebas and squid nerve cells make up this list.

3: Cells come in different shapes—round, flat, long, star-like, cubed, and even shapeless. Most cells are colorless and see-through. The size of a cell also varies.

4:    Protecting the integrity of the interior cell. Providing support and maintaining the shape of the cell. Helps in regulating cell growth through the balance of endocytosis and exocytosis. The cell membrane also plays an important role in cell signalling and communication.

6: Each part has a specific job to do. And as each part does its special job, it works in harmony with all the other parts. The arrangement of specialized parts within a living thing is sometimes referred to as levels of organization. Cells, of course, are the first level of organization. In any multicellular organism, cells rarely work alone.
