Antarctica, which is mostly ice, is much colder than the arctic, which is a mixture of ice and water. why?

Antarctica or the south pole , which is mostly ice, is much colder than the arctic or the north pole, which is a mixture of ice and water. This is because the liquid water in the Arctic Ocean would absorb and release more heat which would keep the temperature in the region to fluctuate frequently. Also, the specific heat of ice is less than the specific heat of water which means that the temperature of ice would easily change. Another reason would be that  the Antarctica have stronger winds so it would absorb heat faster making the average temperature much colder that the Arctic ocean.
