You have been hired on by a non-profit Eco-Active organization as a consultant to give a briefing on the impacts of E-waste on the Marine Environment or water in general. Because of your lack of bias you have been brought in to express your overall opinion on the problem, solutions that are currently available, and how you might use a $30,000 dollar grant to help with the issue at hand. Construct a briefing (power point or word document) to express the problems E-waste cause in the Marine Environment, the sources of E-Waste, and solutions that are currently available. Lastly outline a budget to utilize a $30,000 grant to help with the issue. (budget guidance-use the what, where, when, why, approach to help outline your budget). You can choose to write up your project as a word document or make a presentation (power point) to pitch your idea. Your pitch should take around 5-7 minutes to be read or to be presented.

What is the "goal" or "objective" of your project?

When will your project start and end (budget)?

Where will your project have the biggest impact?

Why is your project the best use of the money?

While you work we will watch this video (Links to an external site.)

Astudent is given a sample of a blue copper sulfate hydrate. he weighs the sample in a dry covered porcelain crucible and got a mass of 23.875 g for the crucible, lid, and sample. the mass of the empty crucible and lid was found earlier to be 22.652 g. he then heats the crucible to expel the water of hydration, keeping the crucible at red heat for 10 minutes with the lid slightly ajar. on colling, he finds the mass of crucible, lid, and contents to be 23.403 g. the sample was changed in the process to very light clue anhydrous cuso4. if there are again 100.0 g of hydrate, how many grams of cuso4 are in it? how many moles of cuso4? (hint: molar mass of cuso4 = 159.6 g / mole. what per cent of the hydrate is cuso4? you may convert the mass of cuso4 to moles.)
