Dr. Ecksplor discovers a strangely colored orchid in Brazil. Professor Seeker find an orchid of the same color in Ecuador. The two scientist wonder whether the two flowers contain the same pigment. They feel sure that the pigment does not dissolve in water. (a) why do they feel sure that the pigment does not dissolve in water?
