Any substance that can be used as a fuel contains chemical energy.

In combustion reaction chemical energy is converted to heat and light energy.

for example, when we burn coal (contain chemical energy) we gain light and heat

fire could start, buildings collapsing, and ash falling from the sky.

this is because the buildings or plants could catch on fire and the buildings would most likely collapse. lastly ash would fall because all the burning would cause ash to fall from the sky.
