1) Encontrar la cadena mas larga de carbonos.

2) Poner el carbono numero 1 (el carbono numero 1 debe ser el que este mas cerca a los sutituyentes unidos a la cadena principal o al grupo funcional principal).

3) Identificar los sustituyentes y asignar la posición de los mismos en la cadena principal.

4) Escribir el nombre usando un orden alfabético para los sustituyentes.
