Describe your method in going about this investigation. I put a stalk of celery in colored water colored with food coloring and waited 24 hours.

What was your hypothesis? Was it proven to be true? Yes

Describe the cross section of celery. Did it look the way you expected it to? Yes the holes that are like veins turned red because of the dye

Which parts of the stem have the most food coloring? The leaves.

Did the cross section of the celery look the same as the bottom of the stalk? No the whole bottom was red while the cross section wasn’t the only red part was the holes or vein like tubes.

Did your data agree with John's results? Yes

What did you find out from this experiment? Be thoughtful in your answer.
