A reaction in which A, B, and C react to form products is first order in A, second order in B, and zero order in C.

1. By what factor does the reaction rate change if [A] is doubled (and the other reactant concentrations are held constant)?

- [A] would equal 2 because it is in the first order (1) and when you double 1 , it equals 2.

2. By what factor does the reaction rate change if [B] is doubled (and the other reactant concentrations are held constant)?

- [B] would equal 4 since it is in the second order 2^2 = 4

3. By what factor does the reaction rate change if [C] is doubled (and the other reactant concentrations are held constant)?

- [C] would be 1.. (not sure why i just guessed and got it right)

4. By what factor does the reaction rate change if the concentrations of all three reactants are doubled?

- And this answer is 8 (not sure why either)

If anyone is able to explain why these last two are the answers they are that would be great!
