Four clear solutions are sitting on a lab table. You have the same volume and concentrationof each. Two will neutralize each other. Using the pH table, interpret the possible results below and draw conclusions as to which two of the solutions will neutralize each other.
a. Mixing solutions B & D give a pH color similar to solution A.
b. Solution B reveals a dark green during a litmus paper test and Solution C has a pH of 11.
c. Solution A has a pH of 4 and a litmus paper test on solution C gives reveals a blue color.
d. A litmus paper test of solution A shows a yellow-green color and solution D gives dark orange during a litmus test.
