If I needed to make a carbonated drink (soda), what steps would I
need to take in order to make sure the drink was sweet but stayed
carbonated? How would I make sure the sugar was able to dissolve?
How would I make sure the drink would stay carbonated?

a  solution  is always transparent, light passes through with no scattering from solute particles which are molecule in size. the  solution  is homogeneous and does not settle out. a colloid is intermediate between asolution  and a  suspension. while asuspension  will separate out a colloid will not.

it is stable as it is in group 0 which have full outer shells of electrons
