The investor filled a large graduated cylinder with water, immersed the chunk of gold, and observed an increase in the apparent volume of material in the graduated cylinder of 25.0 ml. Pure gold has a density of 19.3 g/cm 3 . Did the investor get his money's worth? Why or why not?
