Mark is a doctor testing to see if his new medicine will people sleep better. he is measuring the amount of time people are in deep sleep during the study. he selects 100 30-50 year old people who reported they have trouble staying asleep. during the study the participant must go to bed at the same time and have an alarm set to wake up at the same time each day. they must also take the pill at the same time each day. fifty participants uabe actual new medicine and fifty take a fake pill to be used as comparison. the study last 30 days.
