the reaction between methane gas and ammonia gas to form hydrogen cyanide has reached equilibrium. what is the effect of adding more ammonia (nh3) gas to the reaction chamber? here is the equation: ch4 + nh3 + 1.5o2 ⇄ hcn + 3h2o.

it says the answer is that equilibrium will shift to the right. why is that the answer? can someone explain it to me?
