Explain how magnetic attraction can be used to separate a mixture

Magnetic attraction is a great way to remove metals from mixtures.Magnetic attraction can easily pick up anything that's attracted to a magnet.When trying to separate a mixture that has metals within the mixture, simply hover a magnet over the mixture picking up all the metal that's in the mixture. Doing this will help separate the mixture. Using a magnet will pick up anything that is attracted to a magnet, basically separating the metal objects from the rest of the mixture making it easier.
