True or false threatened species are at the highest risk of extinction

Any species like plants, animals, fungi, and others, which are susceptible to endangerment in the coming time are considered as threatened species. The IUCN treats threatened species not in an isolated category, but in a group of three categories, on the basis of the extent to which they are threatened.  

The threatened species are also considered as a red-listed species as they are named in the IUCN red list of threatened species.
