For example, if you burn wood you can't bring it back to the way it was before you burned it. Therefore, since you can't bring it back, it is a chemical change. In this case however, you CAN bring it back. If you freeze the popsicle mold, it will be made of the same stuff, just in a different state of matter. If you put the popsicle outside and keep it in the mold, then it will turn back into the liquid state. Since in this case, you can change it back and forth, it is a physical change.
