What class of minerals form when the element si is bonded with element o, as in the mineral quartz?

In the mineral quartz or glass there are three types of si-O combined compound. Those are silicon dioxide or silica (), sodium silicate () and calcium silicate (). The preparation of the compounds can be shown as-

1. Si (s) + (g)→ Si (s)

2. Si (s) + NaO (s) → (s)

3. Si (s) + CaO (s) → (s)

As we can see that all the compounds are solid in nature and their composition makes the quartz.
