N Business 2880, our evidence-based approach to cases focuses on the opportunity to conduct research. You do not have to collect data. Instead, we ask you to develop a research proposal related to a given case. The team project you will complete near the end of the term will use this approach. We use the Rocket Cycles case as an informal practice case in several units. Study the Rocket Cycles case. For example, what is the business problem? Can you recognize different elements of the evidence-based management framework in the case? Has anyone put forward a hypothesis? What is it? How would you design an experiment or quasi-experiment to perform a test, as requested by the company (Marcel Meier)?

Post your ideas. Comment on others’ posts, thanking them for useful insights that you hadn’t considered. I am not going to critique everyone’s ideas, but you should interact with each other constructively. Later, I will provide a summary of what the company did, along with additional thoughts.
