What's the difference between islamic management and conventional management?

The difference between the two lies in the source underlying the actual practices. In Islamic management, the management is done according to the Qur'an (Muslims' sacred book) and the Sunnah (traditions of the prophet Muhammad conveyed through his sayings, actions and approvals). The ultimate legislator here is GOD whose instructions cover all aspects of a Muslim's life. Reversely, the conventional management is based upon human thoughts and manmade laws, whereby religion doesn't orientate the economic affairs.

Islamic Management

Planning: is the process of setting aims and goals for the short term as well as for the long term. Muslims are trained in handling both of these objectives.Organizing: is the process of setting the structure of the project and as well as a role in the structure to be undertaken by the Human efforts.

Conventional Management

Conventional management organization is meant to be groups of people coming together to attain the organizational goals.
