Once I ordered three pairs of footwear from a popular online portal and got a bulk discount. To my disappointment, my order was not delivered to me on time. When I called the customer service number to inquire, I was told that they were sorry to inform me that there would be a delay in the delivery. I was not provided any reason for the delay, nor was I provided the additional time that would be required to make the delivery. There was a lot of ambiguity in the customer service representative’s response to my call. Finally, the goods arrived at my home after a three-week delay. To my dismay, I received only a single pair and I was informed that the other two pairs would arrive the next day. Because I received only one pair, I was charged more than the discounted price. I thought I would receive the other two pairs at lesser price so that the total price matches the discounted price. However, the remaining two pairs of footwear never arrived. I also experienced a loss of money in buying a pair of footwear at a higher price online than was available in the store in my area. When I called the customer service helpline, they told me that they ran out of stock of the ordered footwear. They asked me to select some other footwear, and place a new bulk order.

I was terribly disappointed in the service of the online portal that promised good online shopping service to customers. I will never buy anything from them again. I have found out that they are unreliable and unethical, and I don’t trust them anymore.
