Sarah shops for a new car in a dealership that only employs former college football players. While Sarah is test driving one of the vehicles, the keys to her own car are secured behind the counter. When Sarah returns from the test drive, she decides she doesn't want the car and she wants to go home. For some time, the salesmen refuse to give the keys back and try to pressure Sarah into buying a new car. She gets very upset, and, after nearly 40 minutes, her keys are finally returned and she leaves. Sarah is upset all evening and tells her friends about it. She refuses to ever go back to the dealership. She does not miss any work, continues to eat and sleep and does not require professional counselling. Sarah has a case for intentional infliction of emotional distress.
