For the new store she would like to double the retail space and triple the administrative space of the current store. At the time the current shop was purchased, retail space sold for $75 per square foot and general office space cost $30 per square foot. The cost indexes at the time were 153 for retail space and 120 for office space. The costs indexes are now 140 for retail space and 132 for office space. Estimate the cost for Sage to purchase a second store at this time.
